Linguists Need Data! Poster

Linguists need data—keep your mouth open! This new poster in our vintage poster series is a twist on a World War II poster from the Government Printing Office that originally said “Don’t be a sucker—Keep your mouth shut.”

The text at the bottom says “This poster is published by Cascadilla Press as a contribution to the National Linguistics Effort.”

This poster is available in our shop on Cafepress. Other posters in our vintage linguistics poster series include Loose Lips Make Bilabial Trills, Strong Verbs for a Strong America, and Trust Your Native Speaker Judgment.
