Book launch celebration at the LSA

In just over a week, we are publishing the second edition of Monica Macaulay’s popular Surviving Linguistics: A Guide for Graduate Students! We’ll have this fully updated second edition at the LSA meeting in Pittsburgh. Come by our exhibit booth any time during the conference, and on Saturday, January 8, swing by at 11:00 a.m. to meet the author and enjoy some chocolate truffles!

The LSA will be the first chance to see the second edition. If you won’t be at the LSA, you can order a copy now to be shipped on January 7.

Book exhibit at SLRF 2009

Cascadilla Press will be displaying books at the 2009 Second Language Research Forum (SLRF 2009) at Michigan State University from October 29-November 1, 2009. You can browse our recent books in language acquisition, including Selected Proceedings of the 2007 Second Language Research Forum and Proceedings of the 33rd annual
Boston University Conference on Language Development.

In 2010-2011, we will be publishing the Selected Proceedings of SLRF 2009 through Cascadilla Proceedings Project. To take advantage of the discounted price for advance orders, go to our order form. The SLRF 2007 Proceedings is also available for purchase there, and advance orders for the SLRF 2008 Proceedings are still open. SLRF 1999 and 2000 are available through Cascadilla Press in paperback and library binding editions.

Book exhibit at HLS 2009

Cascadilla Press will be participating in the book exhibit at the 2009 Hispanic Linguistics Symposium (HLS 13) at the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras from October 21-24, 2009. We’ll be displaying our recent books in Hispanic linguistics, including El español a través de la lingüística: Preguntas y respuestas and Guide to the Phonetic Symbols of Spanish.

In 2010-2011, we will be publishing the Selected Proceedings of HLS 13 through Cascadilla Proceedings Project. To take advantage of the discounted price for advance orders, go to our order form. Book display at GASLA 10

GASLA 10 will be taking place at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on March 13-15, 2009. You’ll be able to look through the proceedings from the two previous GASLA conferences, GASLA 8 and GASLA 9, at the registration table. Because they were published through Cascadilla Proceedings Project, you can also read all of the papers from the proceedings on-line at www.lingref.com.
